About this Course

Dancers take the stage! From autumn to spring, aspiring performers (new dancers welcome!) learn the hottest footwork trends such as breaking, popping, locking, and tutting through choreographed routines. Young dancers are led through stretching, stationary, and across the floor work and games in a supportive environment – all while building confidence, coordination, and (of course!) rhythm. They’ll have their time to shine, performing live on stage in a spring recital at the City Playhouse Theatre. Appropriate dance attire is highly recommended, including: non-marking running shoes and comfortable clothing. Children receive a ‘Vaughan Dance’ t-shirt and drawstring tote bag at the start of the program. Note: Fee includes a recital costume. Recital date: Saturday, May 17, 2025.
