About this Course

Delivered in partnership with Pathways on Pleasure Valley Wonder awaits each camper at this western-style riding ranch boasting 225 of the most breathtaking and tranquil horseback riding forest trails, a charming lodge, an indoor arena, well-kept grounds, and compassionate horsemanship practices. Daily riding instruction and supervision are provided for approximately one hour by experienced and well-trained stable staff, complemented by a 30-minute horse activity (grooming, general care, stable management) that adds an extra layer of connection with the majestic four-legged companions. Plus, campers enjoy a horse show on Friday afternoon. But adventure extends beyond the saddle. This camp proudly offers a diverse range of alternative activities that promise excitement, exploration and a well-rounded experience. From invigorating hikes, sports and hands-on crafts to engaging nature exploration and farm animal interaction, every moment at Camp Corral will captivate, educate and inspire young hearts. Note: Camp fee includes bus transportation from Vellore Village Community Centre or North Thornhill Community Centre. Bus departure is 7:45am from Vellore Village Community Centre and 8:20am from North Thornhill Community Centre. Camp programming will commence upon arrival at Pathways on Pleasure Valley at approximately 9:00am and will continue until departure at 3:45pm. The bus will re-turn to North Thornhill Community Centre at 4:25pm and to Vellore Village Community Centre at 5pm. Bus routes can be between 45-75 minutes in length, from start to finish. Before & After Care is available from 7:30am until bus departure and after bus drop-off until 6pm. An ASTM/SEI approved riding helmet and paddock riding boots (ankle high, with one-inch heel) are re-quired, and gloves are highly recommended. Required riding equipment is not provided nor included in the camp fee.
